Cancellation Policy

1. One-Time Donations

Donations made through our online platform are processed immediately upon confirmation. Due to the nature of charitable contributions:

• Before Payment Processing: If you wish to cancel your donation before completing the payment, simply close the payment page or do not confirm the transaction. No amount will be charged.
• After Payment Processing: Once a donation has been successfully processed and confirmed, it cannot be cancelled. However, you may request a refund under the circumstances described in our Refund Policy.

2. Recurring Donations

If and when we offer recurring (monthly/annual) donation options in the future, the following cancellation terms will apply:

• You can cancel anytime: Recurring donations can be cancelled at any time through your donor account or by contacting us at [email protected].
• Effective from next cycle: Cancellation will take effect from the next billing cycle. Any donation already processed for the current cycle will not be reversed unless it qualifies under our Refund Policy.
• No penalties: There are no penalties or fees for cancelling a recurring donation.

3. Impact on 80G Tax Receipts

If a processed donation is subsequently refunded following a cancellation request, the corresponding 80G tax exemption receipt will be cancelled. If Form 10BD has already been filed for the relevant financial year, an amendment will be submitted to the Income Tax Department. You should not claim a tax deduction under Section 80G for any cancelled and refunded donation.

4. Cancellation of Volunteer Commitments

If you have signed up for a volunteer activity or event and need to cancel, please inform us at least 48 hours in advance so that we can make alternative arrangements. While we understand that circumstances may change, timely communication helps us continue our work without disruption.

5. How to Request a Cancellation

To request a cancellation, please contact us using one of the following methods:

• Email: Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Cancellation Request" and include your name, email address, transaction details, and reason for cancellation.

We will acknowledge your cancellation request within 2 business days and process it as per the applicable terms.
